Electronics for Kids

I don't have kids, I bought this for me, and no I haven't soldered any kits yet. My dad used to tinker with radios, analog speakers all the time - thought I would pick up on it, my 10x10ft aprtmetn office room doesn't allow me to afford this hobby.
